Although I learned a lot about how a business operates from a financial perspective throughout my experience with the course, I have found that this project taught me to better understand the way that a business operates as a whole. By producing a master budget that encompassed numerous smaller budgets, I was able to see how the different aspects come together to form a cohesive whole. This has enabled me to have a more complete perspective of how Managerial Accounting works. This will serve to inform all of my future decisions in regards to business finance–and also in my personal life as well. This knowledge will assist me to make sound financial decisions throughout my life.
